Tony Khan Reveals AEW’s Jaw-Dropping Financial Success, Raking in Over $100 Million

AEW President Tony Khan recently sat down with the Hollywood Reporter to discuss the financial growth of All Elite Wrestling since its launch in 2019. In the interview, Khan revealed that AEW grossed well above $100 million in 2023 and expects even higher numbers this year.

Khan emphasized that a significant portion of the revenue generated by AEW has been reinvested back into the business. He stated, “Last year, we grossed over $100 million. This year, we’ll gross far more than $100 million – we’ll see where it ends up. But last year was $100 million, this year is going to be a lot more with video game revenue, Wembley revenue, and the addition of our weekly TNT show, Collision.”

Furthermore, Khan mentioned that AEW is still operating based on the original investment received in 2019. However, there have been no additional investments made so far. The company has been focused on expanding internationally, launching a video game, increasing the TV and pay-per-view schedules, and merchandising.

Regarding the valuation of AEW, Khan revealed that he has received billion-dollar offers for the company. However, he is not interested in taking AEW public at this time. He sees the upcoming media rights renewal as a crucial factor for the profitability and cash flow of the company.

In other news, Matt Hardy recently disclosed that Tony Khan portrayed the character Leatherface during the Texas Chainsaw Deathmatch at AEW Fight for the Fallen. Hardy’s revelation adds another layer of excitement to AEW’s unique and thrilling events.
