FTW Title Match Confirmed For AEW All In – In last night’s spoiler post, we noted how an angle is set to take place on Saturday’s Fyter Fest edition of AEW Collision, which will set up a match between Hook and FTW Champion Jack Perry for All In.
The segment commenced with Perry entering the arena to officially retire the FTW Title. Originally slated for last night’s Fyter Fest Dynamite episode, the angle was rescheduled to take place during Collision, serving as the final show before All In. In an update, Tony Khan appeared on the AEW Unrestricted podcast this morning and confirmed that the match between Hook and Jack Perry for the FTW Title will be featured on the All In pre-show.
“There’s one more huge match coming up on Sunday and it’s free to everybody worldwide,” Khan said. “It’s part of the Zero Hour, and it’s for the FTW Championship. It’s a big rematch with Jack Perry, the FTW Champion, who has really disrespected the title and disrespected the lineage of it, the history, and the former champion when Jack Perry takes on Hook this Sunday on the Zero Hour.”
During the Blood & Guts edition of AEW Dynamite on July 19, Perry achieved victory over Hook to secure the FTW Title. This marked Hook’s first loss out of 34 matches with the company. Following the win, Perry has defended the title only once, successfully retaining it against the legendary Rob Van Dam on the August 9 Dynamite.
The 2023 AEW All In pay-per-view is scheduled for this Sunday, August 27. The event’s Zero Hour pre-show will commence at 12pm ET, while the main card is set to begin at 1pm ET. With 11 matches officially confirmed, the updated card is as follows:
