Tony Khan reveals major alterations to All In event due to unforeseen circumstances

AEW owner, president, and booker Tony Khan has announced that there will be changes to the All In card, which is set to take place on Sunday, August 27. While Khan did not specify the matches that will be affected, he did mention that some adjustments were planned from the beginning, while others are being made due to unforeseen circumstances.

One of the changes that Khan highlighted was the removal of a “main match” featuring Bryan Danielson, who suffered an injury at the Forbidden Door event. Additionally, Khan expressed his disappointment that British stars Jamie Hayter and PAC will not be able to have prominent roles on the All In card due to injuries.

However, Khan assured fans that the quality of the show will not be compromised by these changes. He stated, “They’re not substantive changes that will change the quality of the show, and I’m very glad that the big matches are in such a good position right now.”

While Khan did not provide specific details about the reasons behind the changes, he mentioned that some of them are related to real-world issues that are beyond anyone’s control. He expressed his commitment to working through these challenges and making the card even better than originally planned.

As for the matches that have been the subject of recent speculation, Khan clarified that he was not referring to the World Championship match between MJF and Adam Cole or the World Tag Team title match. He assured fans that these matches, along with others he mentioned earlier, will remain unaffected.

It remains to be seen what the exact changes to the All In card will be, but fans can expect to see evidence of these adjustments on tomorrow night’s episode of Dynamite. Khan also stated that he will provide further details about the changes during the post-PPV media scrum on Sunday.

For now, fans can view the current configuration of the All In card here. Stay tuned for updates on the changes and the impact they will have on the highly anticipated event.
