Lacey Evans Exposes Shocking Reason Behind WWE Departure, Teases Exciting New Endeavor with Captivating Photos

Former WWE superstar Lacey Evans, whose real name is Macey Estrella, recently revealed her new project and the reasons behind her departure from the wrestling company. Evans, whose WWE contract expired and was not renewed, is now a free agent for the first time since signing with the company in 2016.

In an interview with The Island News, Evans explained that while she loved her time with WWE, the constant traveling made it difficult for her to be with her family and engage in community outreach. She wanted to focus on helping her community fight against addiction and normalize mental health issues.

Evans, who lost her father to mental health struggles and addiction, used her platform in WWE to raise awareness about mental health and help children affected by addiction. Now, she plans to continue that work in her community with her new project.

Evans is set to open the Sunny Summers Cafe in Beaufort, South Carolina. The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Monday at 11:30 am. The cafe, located at 7 Robert Smalls Parkway, will not only provide a space for the community to gather but also offer support to local organizations.

Evans intends to open the cafe doors to community organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), providing them with free coffee and donuts as well as a meeting place. Additionally, she plans to host seminars and classes, primarily for women and military spouses, to help them develop essential skills for employment and pursue their goals.

Stepping away from WWE has given Evans more freedom to express herself and pursue her passions. Most importantly, it allows her to settle in one place with her family, providing them with stability and quality time together.

The Sunny Summers Cafe is named after Evans’ two daughters, Summer and Sunny. With the help of her husband Alfonso, Evans has transformed the cafe into a vibrant and welcoming space. The interior features personal touches, such as crayon marks from her daughter Sunny and little green military men as a nod to her time in the Marine Corps. The cafe also includes multiple selfie stations and a display of Evans’ WWE action figure.

As a veteran and survivor of childhood trauma, Evans wants to focus on mental health at the cafe. She plans to incorporate inspirational phrases, scent therapy, color therapy, and comfortable seating to create a space where people can unplug from their devices and minds. To encourage this, the cafe has a “Cellphone Jail” where customers can store their phones while enjoying a free donut with their family.

The menu at Sunny Summers Cafe will feature a variety of coffee drinks and freshly made donuts. For Evans, the smell and taste of coffee symbolize the hard work and long days she has put into her career.

While Evans’ future in professional wrestling remains uncertain, her dedication to her community and passion for mental health advocacy are evident in her new project. The Sunny Summers Cafe aims to provide a welcoming space for the Beaufort community to gather, support one another, and pursue their goals.
