According to Programming Insider, the episode drew 2.233 million viewers overnight, which is a decrease from the previous week’s preliminary number of 2.650 million. It should be noted that the viewership for SmackDown was likely affected by the NFL airing preseason games on FOX, as was the case the previous week.
In addition to the drop in viewership, SmackDown also scored a rating of 0.53 in the highly coveted 18-59 key demographic, which is down from the previous week. However, it is worth mentioning that these are just preliminary numbers, and the full ratings will be released next week, which typically show an increase in viewership.
