Rob Van Dam, also known as the Whole F’n Show, had nothing but praise for ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry after their FTW Championship match on August 9th’s episode of AEW Dynamite. RVD shared his thoughts on Perry’s performance during the latest edition of his ‘One Of A Kind podcast.’
During the podcast, RVD reminisced about seeing Perry train when he lived in LA. He mentioned that he would accompany his partner, Katie Forbes, to Santino Brothers, where Perry was training. RVD noted that Perry has come a long way since then and commended his comfort, smoothness, and timing in the ring. However, RVD couldn’t help but mention that Perry cheated to secure the victory, using a low blow and roll-up.
Interestingly, RVD also revealed that he had met Perry when he was just a little kid. At a wrestling event at the Staples Center around 2001, RVD had the opportunity to meet Perry’s father, Luke Perry, who was a wrestling fan. This connection allowed RVD to meet a young Jungle Boy and witness his journey to becoming the talented performer he is today.
