WWE superstar Tommaso Ciampa is on a mission to find his former tag team partner, Johnny Gargano. Ciampa uploaded a video online, where he can be seen putting up missing person posters of Gargano. The two wrestlers were a formidable team in NXT and had a heated rivalry as well. Ciampa expressed his desire to reunite with Gargano, who has not wrestled a match on WWE TV since May 15.
The video also features Matt Riddle, who talks about missing his own tag partner, Randy Orton. It seems that Ciampa and Riddle share a common sentiment of wanting to be back with their former partners. While Gargano has wrestled some matches at live events in July, there is no word on when he is expected to return to WWE TV.
Opinion: The potential reunion of Ciampa and Gargano is an exciting prospect for the tag team division. They were an outstanding team in NXT and their chemistry in the ring was undeniable. It would be a great boost for the tag team division, which could use some fresh energy. Sometimes, wrestlers are better as a team rather than on their own, and Ciampa and Gargano could be a perfect example of that.
