Joe Coffey and Tyler Bate are set to clash once again on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT. The match was announced after an altercation between the two wrestlers outside of a live event in Sanford, FL, as captured in a video uploaded by the NXT Anonymous account. This will be the third singles match between Coffey and Bate in WWE.
The previous encounters between Coffey and Bate took place on the November 28, 2018 edition of NXT UK, where the match ended in a double disqualification. Bate then emerged victorious in their second bout on the August 25, 2022 NXT UK show, which was a NXT UK Title Tournament match.
Both competitors are coming off recent wins. Bate secured a victory over Noam Dar to claim possession of Dar’s replica NXT Heritage Cup just one week ago. Coffey, on the other hand, emerged triumphant in a match against Tavion Heights on Friday’s NXT Level Up.
