Tony Khan Unveils Epic Three-Night AEW Spectacular for The Fallen with a Noble Cause, Grateful to TV Collaborators

The 2023 AEW Fight for The Fallen show will be a three-night event that takes place next week in Nashville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky. Proceeds from both shows will be donated to the Maui Food Bank to benefit victims of the wildfires in Hawaii.

AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter this evening to announce that Fight for The Fallen will kick off next Wednesday for the live Dynamite at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. The Fight for The Fallen Rampage will also be taped that night to air on Friday. AEW will then shoot the live Fight for The Fallen edition of Collision next Saturday from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY.

“Based on the horrific fires in Maui, I’ve changed AEW’s upcoming schedule to provide assistance. Next week on Wed/Fri/Sat, it’s AEW Fight For The Fallen 2023 on #AEWDynamite #AEWRampage #AEWCollision Proceeds from AEW on 8/16 Nashville + 8/19 Lexington will go to @MauiFoodBank,” Khan wrote.

Khan later posted a follow-up and thanked AEW’s network partners at Warner Bros. Discovery, for helping with the schedule change.

The inaugural Fight for The Fallen event aired in 2019 as a Saturday pay-per-view (free in North America) from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL, to benefit victims of gun violence. Fight for The Fallen 2020 was also held at Daily’s Place, as a special Dynamite episode, to benefit COVID-19 relief. Fight for The Fallen 2021, which also aired as a Dynamite special, took place at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, NC, and raised money for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Fight for The Fallen 2022 was a two-night event, airing on Rampage and Dynamite that week from the DCU Center in Worcester, MA, and was held to benefit Oceana, a non-profit marine wildlife organization.
