Chris Hero Opens Up About Producing in AEW and Juggling Responsibilities with West Coast Pro Wrestling

Chris Hero, also known as the Knockout King, recently discussed his role as a producer in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and how he manages his duties at West Coast Pro Wrestling. In an interview with Post Wrestling, Hero shared his thoughts on balancing his commitments and the compromises he made.

When approached by AEW to come in as a producer and coach for a few shows, Hero was clear about not wanting to neglect his responsibilities at West Coast Pro Wrestling. He emphasized that he had invested significant time and effort into the promotion, and he didn’t want to abandon it after just a few months. Fortunately, AEW understood his concerns and supported his commitment to West Coast Pro Wrestling.

Hero also addressed the question of his exclusivity to either AEW or Collision, a new program he has been working on. He clarified that he is not exclusive to either show but has been dedicating more time to Collision due to its newness and the need for additional personnel.

While Hero acknowledged his involvement in various AEW shows, including pay-per-views, Rampage, and Dynamite, he emphasized that his schedule is ever-changing. He mentioned instances where he might miss a Collision episode but make up for it by appearing on Dynamite.

It’s clear that Hero’s commitment to both AEW and West Coast Pro Wrestling is important to him. He values the opportunities and support he has received from both promotions and strives to fulfill his responsibilities to the best of his abilities.

In a previous interview, Hero also shared his thoughts on the misconception that younger wrestlers are not as hardworking as their predecessors. He highlighted the dedication and hunger for success displayed by the younger generation. You can read more about his views on this matter here.
