Must-See RAW Results: Epic SummerSlam Aftershocks Unveiled in Live Blog!

WWE Monday Night Raw returned to our screens tonight (Aug. 7, 2023) from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and it was filled with the fallout from the SummerSlam event that took place this past Saturday night in Detroit.

The show kicked off with Cody Rhodes addressing the crowd. He talked about his encounter with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and how Lesnar acknowledged him after their match. Rhodes mentioned feeling on top of the world and challenged anyone in the world to face him.

Seth Rollins interrupted Rhodes and confronted him about his claim of being able to beat anyone in the world. Rollins proposed a match to put Rhodes’ confidence to the test.

Just as tensions were rising, Judgment Day (Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio) made their way to the ring. They claimed that they run Monday Night Raw and that they dictate what happens with championships. They also mentioned that Rhea Ripley is the most dominant world champion and Dominik Mysterio will be defending his title on NXT.

Out of nowhere, Finn Balor attacked Rollins, and Priest and Mysterio joined in to attack Rhodes. Sami Zayn made the save, and the babyfaces turned the tide, sending Judgment Day packing.

Rhodes proposed a trios match for the main event, with the three of them facing Judgment Day. The match was set, and the stage was set for an intense night of action.

In other news, there was a four-way #1 contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship. Chad Gable, Matt Riddle, Ricochet, and Tommaso Ciampa battled it out in a chaotic match. In the end, Gable emerged victorious, becoming the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship.

There was also a match between Bronson Reed and Shinsuke Nakamura. After a hard-fought battle, Nakamura came out on top, securing the win with a pinfall victory.

The show also featured a confrontation between Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark. Lynch announced that she would be having a rematch against Trish Stratus next week, and Stark interrupted her, claiming that Lynch is scared of her. The two exchanged words, and Shayna Baszler joined the fray, setting up a match between Baszler and Stark.

Later in the show, Ludwig Kaiser had a match against Otis. Kaiser emerged victorious, but he was attacked by Imperium after the match. Chad Gable made the save, leading to a brawl between the two teams.

The main event of the night saw Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Shinsuke Nakamura team up to take on Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor). After a hard-fought match, Rhodes, Rollins, and Nakamura emerged victorious, with Rhodes pinning Balor for the win.

The show ended with tension between Rhodes and Rollins, as Nakamura attacked Rollins with a Kinshasa. Sami Zayn tried to play peacemaker, but the damage was done.

Overall, it was an action-packed night on Monday Night Raw, with several matches and intense moments. The fallout from SummerSlam continues, and it will be interesting to see how the storylines progress in the coming weeks.
