The 200th episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with an exciting dark match at the Yuengling Center in Tampa. Taya Valkyrie, Marina Shafir, and Nyla Rose faced off against Kelsey Raegan, Avery Breaux, and Dream Girl Ellie. The match was action-packed, and the team of Valkyrie, Shafir, and Rose emerged victorious. It was a thrilling start to the milestone episode.
In the second dark match of the night, Big Bill and ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Brian Cage teamed up to take on Cameron Stewart and Luther. The match showcased incredible athleticism and power from both teams, but it was Big Bill and Cage who came out on top with a hard-fought victory.
The final pre-show dark match featured Lee Moriarty and Dante Casanova. Moriarty put on an impressive display of technical wrestling skills and secured the win over Casanova. The crowd was on their feet, appreciating the talent and athleticism on display.
After the dark matches, AEW President Tony Khan took to the stage to welcome the audience to the historic 200th episode of Dynamite. Khan acknowledged that Dynamite started on TNT and introduced the man who claims to be the AEW TNT Champion, Christian Cage. However, instead of a warm welcome, Cage proceeded to insult the city of Tampa and its people. Luchasaurus and Khan looked on as Cage delivered his disrespectful remarks.
