Hikaru Shida Wins AEW Women’s Title On AEW Dynamite 200 – Hikaru Shida emerged victorious in a thrilling match against Toni Storm on tonight’s historic 200th episode of AEW Dynamite. The event took place in Tampa and had fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
The match saw Storm come close to securing the win after using spray paint on Shida and executing her finishing move, Storm Zero. However, Shida displayed incredible resilience, kicking out of the pin attempt. In a surprising turn of events, Shida managed to trap Storm in a cradle pin, ultimately capturing the AEW Women’s Championship.
This victory marks Shida’s second reign as AEW Women’s Champion. Her first title win occurred during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic at Double or Nothing 2020 when she defeated Nyla Rose. Shida later dropped the title to Britt Baker at Double or Nothing 2021.
