Wardlow Vows to Overcome MJF’s Obstacles and Rise to the Top

Wardlow, the rising star of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), believes that his path to the top of the company is being hindered by the current world champion, MJF. In a recent interview with DAE on Demand, Wardlow expressed his frustration and discussed his future aspirations.

During the interview, Wardlow proudly reminded listeners that he had defeated MJF at Double or Nothing 2022 in a dominant fashion. He stated, “Not only did I beat our champion, but I squashed him. There is another guy running around calling himself the champion, and I’m pretty sure I beat the brakes off him as well.”

However, despite his impressive victories, Wardlow feels that he is being overlooked due to backstage politics. He believes that as long as MJF holds the title, he will continue to face obstacles in his quest for the top. “Politics. As long as MJF is at the top, he’s going to do everything he can to keep me at the bottom,” Wardlow stated.

Wardlow’s frustration is understandable, considering his absence from the AEW 200th episode of Dynamite and his lack of in-ring action since losing the TNT Championship to Luchasaurus in June at the AEW Collision premiere.

While Wardlow acknowledges that he needs to improve his backstage politics, he believes that MJF’s influence will make it challenging for him to achieve his goals. With MJF as the reigning champion, Wardlow fears that his talents may continue to be overlooked.

It remains to be seen how AEW management will address Wardlow’s concerns and whether he will have the opportunity to showcase his skills and climb the ranks in the near future.
