Drew McIntyre Knows There Is Money In A Feud With Cody Rhodes: “It’ll Be A Big Deal When It Happens”

Drew McIntyre, also known as the Scottish Warrior, recently expressed his excitement for a potential feud with Cody Rhodes in WWE. In an interview on the podcast “Under The Ring” with Phil Strum, McIntyre reminisced about his tag team title run with Cody and acknowledged the potential for a lucrative storyline between the two.
During their time as tag team champions, McIntyre and Cody were known as the Dashing Ones. McIntyre reflected on their shared journey, stating, “We were both about 24, The Dashing Ones. A lot of people forget that, but yeah, similar journeys. We got The Dashing Ones thing, and there’s lots of other story elements and things that weren’t even on TV that can be touched upon.”
When asked about the possibility of a feud with Cody in the current WWE landscape, McIntyre expressed his belief that it would be a highly profitable venture. He emphasized the need for the timing to be right, saying, “That’s a money story down the line and when the time is right. I don’t even wanna think about touching that until the time is right, but it’ll be a big deal when it happens.”
While fans eagerly anticipate a McIntyre and Cody feud, the Scottish Warrior has a more immediate challenge ahead. He is set to face GUNTHER at SummerSlam this Saturday for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. McIntyre’s focus is on surviving this match before he can turn his attention to a potential clash with Cody Rhodes.
