Stephen Amell Marvels at Bad Bunny and Logan Paul’s Groundbreaking Impact on Celebrity Wrestling

Stephen Amell, the acclaimed actor known for his work on Arrow and the new wrestling series Heels, recently spoke about his fellow celebrity wrestlers in an interview with WrestleRant. When asked if he still had the desire to get back into the ring himself after competing in matches at SummerSlam and All In, Amell had some interesting insights to share.

Amell reflected on his previous wrestling matches, which took place in 2015 at SummerSlam, a Ring of Honor show in late 2017 or early 2018, and the All In show. While he expressed pride in those matches, he also admitted that he lacked ring cardio at the time. Being in the middle of shooting ‘Arrow’ and not doing any cardio, he found himself struggling in the matches, even though two of them were tag matches. However, he noted that he has since learned more about the psychology of wrestling, pacing himself in the ring, and executing various moves.

When asked about the work of Bad Bunny and Logan Paul in WWE, Amell praised both celebrities for taking the concept of celebrity appearances in wrestling to new heights. He acknowledged that they have built upon what he tried to establish and elevated it even further. Amell, being competitive by nature, expressed a desire to come back and make his mark once again.

Amell also mentioned his aspiration to be inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame. He stated that he believes he is one good match away from achieving that goal. While he acknowledged that his standards may be different from those of actual professional wrestlers, he sees a WrestleMania match as the opportunity to solidify his place in the Hall of Fame. He humorously referred to it as the Snoop Dogg/Arnold Schwarzenegger wing of the Hall of Fame, jokingly mentioning that it used to be called the Donald Trump wing.

In addition to his wrestling endeavors, Amell’s new series Heels has recently premiered its second season on Starz. Fans can catch the full interview with Stephen Amell below.
