The Rock Receives WWE SmackDown Invitation Following Fiery Exchange with Grayson Waller

The Rock Invited to WWE SmackDown After Trading Shots with Grayson Waller

In a surprising turn of events, WWE Superstar Grayson Waller took to Twitter to knock WWE Legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and The Great One wasted no time firing back. The exchange between the two has created quite a buzz in the wrestling world, leaving fans wondering if this could lead to a potential angle on WWE SmackDown.

The incident occurred after last week’s WWE SmackDown from Madison Square Garden, where Waller faced off against WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Despite losing the match, Waller received praise from Edge and others backstage for his performance. This was a significant moment for Waller as it marked his main roster in-ring debut following his call-up to SmackDown in the WWE Draft.

Taking to Twitter, Waller couldn’t resist taking a shot at The Rock, referring to his debut at the 1996 Survivor Series event from MSG. Waller wrote, “This biggest debut in Madison Square Garden since that bloke who wore the cringe tassels.” He even posted a video of himself wearing a replica of The Rock’s infamous attire from that night, mocking the outfit and claiming that his MSG debut was better.

The Rock didn’t hold back in his response, agreeing with Waller about the cringe-worthy outfit while also insulting the Australian Superstar. He blamed the outfit on WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, who was actually on the opposing team in the Traditional Survivor Series match that night. The Rock tweeted, “Man you’re right! That outfit was so cringe. Here’s what’s more cringe – the fact you look and sound like you dropped out of some jabroni’s balloon knot. Nice haircut, you Outback Jack Off. Ps, my cringe debut outfit was all Triple H’s idea.”

Not one to back down, Waller fired back at The Rock and even extended an invitation for him to be a guest on “The Grayson Waller Effect.” Waller wrote, “Ouch! Those classic 1999 schoolyard insults really still hit. You still have an open invitation to be a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect though! Sounds like you’re in desperate need of the Grayson Waller rub.”

As of now, The Rock has not responded to Waller’s invitation, leaving fans speculating on the possibility of a future angle between the two. However, it seems unlikely that The Rock will return to WWE TV for a feud with Waller, especially with the ongoing Bloodline Civil War storyline. Nevertheless, WWE officials have high hopes for Waller’s future and believe he could receive a major push, possibly even working with WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin in the near future.

Waller has already proven himself in recent segments with top WWE Superstars like Edge, John Cena, Logan Paul, AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair. His in-ring debut at Madison Square Garden was just the beginning of what could be a promising career in WWE.
