Deonna Purrazzo Envisions Trinity Propelling IMPACT to Unprecedented Heights as Knockouts Champion at Slammiversary

IMPACT Wrestling superstar Deonna Purrazzo recently appeared on Busted Open Radio to discuss the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view and her thoughts on potentially losing the Knockouts Championship. The interview shed light on Purrazzo’s perspective on the division and the possibility of Trinity carrying the torch for IMPACT.

Slammiversary is set to take place this Saturday, and the main event will feature Deonna Purrazzo defending her Knockouts Championship against Trinity. With such a high-profile match, the anticipation is building, and fans are eager to see who will come out on top.

When asked about the possibility of losing the title, Purrazzo expressed that as a champion, she never goes in wanting to lose. However, she acknowledged that the division is bigger than just herself and that there are many talented women who also want to elevate the division to new heights.

Purrazzo stated, “If Trinity being the champion, if she can get the best of me and defeat me, does that for our company, then I can’t complain about that.” She emphasized the importance of getting more eyes on the product and acknowledged that if Trinity is the one to achieve that, she won’t be upset about losing the championship.

The IMPACT star further emphasized her role as one of the faces of the company, whether she holds the title or not. Having been a three-time champion and having lost the title twice, Purrazzo understands the significance of having a champion who can bring more attention and growth to the product.

“I’m really grateful for that, and if having a champion who has done a lot more than me is bigger, has a bigger platform than me, brings more eyes to our product, and has more people watching every week, has more people talking about it than me being champion doesn’t matter,” Purrazzo explained. “You know, we want growth. We want to continue to evolve. If Trinity does that, not just Trinity, if anyone did that, I can’t be upset at the end of the day. That’s best for business.”

In addition to discussing her upcoming match, Purrazzo also spoke about her friend Chelsea Green’s return to WWE. She expressed her happiness for Green and shared her thoughts on how WWE was always Green’s dream.
