Liv Morgan’s injury caused WWE to vacate the women’s tag team titles, and this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured a Fatal 4-Way match to crown new champions. The match pitted Raquel Rodriguez and her new partner Shotzi against Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, Damage CTRL, and Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green. The match seemed to be a way to finally crown Rousey and Baszler as champions, a pursuit they had been teasing for months. Each team had their moments in the match, but ultimately it was Rousey and Baszler who emerged as the new women’s tag team champions. Rodriguez put up a strong fight, but it was not enough to overcome the dominant duo of Rousey and Baszler. In a thrilling match on WWE Raw, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won the tag team titles. The arena erupted in fireworks during the celebration. Corey Graves predicted that the internet would be flooded with tears after the match, and it seemed that he was right.
