That’s a serious problem. There are all kinds of wrestlers throughout the industry and they come from all kinds of different backgrounds. You never know where you might see someone coming from to get into the wrestling world, but they all have real lives that take place after the show goes off. Some of those real lives go badly, and now a former WWE star is in some serious trouble.

Back in 2020, the DiBiase family was accused of being involved in an embezzlement scheme to defraud the state of Mississippi of funds designated for poor families. His son Brett pleaded guilty to charges while the rest of the family did not face any charges but reportedly received funds from the scheme.
This week, the Department of Justice has announced that Ted DiBiase Jr. is being charged with the theft of millions of dollars from the federal government earmarked for needy families. According to PWInsider.com, DiBiase Jr. has pleaded not guilty to charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud and money laundering. There is no word on any potential court date.

Opinion: This is a situation that could get very bad in a hurry and things are already looking complicated for the family. I’m not sure what is going on with the whole situation, but that is what the court is supposed to figure out. Hopefully things are not what they seem, as there is no real way around taking money away from families who need it in a way like this.
