Top of the list. We are done with WrestleMania 39, which set a variety of records for WWE. It will be one of, if not the biggest and most important events of the year for WWE and now that things are done, the company can get a better idea of where things are. This includes which stars are the most popular and there is one figure that tells them one name is even bigger than the rest.

The main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 39 saw Cody Rhodes unsuccessfully challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Rhodes’ title shot had been the main story leading into WrestleMania after he won the men’s Royal Rumble. According to Fightful Select, Rhodes’ merchandise was the best selling among any Superstar. The best seller for the event was generic WrestleMania merchandise.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that both WWE and Rhodes can point to and say that he did well over the weekend and the build towards WrestleMania. At the same time, Rhodes losing in the end made for quite the saddening moment and I’m curious to see where WWE goes with him from here. It seems that we are getting ready for Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, which could be quite the boost or another knock down the ladder again.
