Takagi vs Eagles atop massive Melbourne TAMASHII card!

Huge night in the Croxton rounds out TAMASHII tour

The third tour for NJPW TAMASHII comes to an end in the Croxton in Thornbury, Melbourne on April 16. With a stacked lineup headlined by a dream matchup for Robbie Eagles and Shingo Takagi for the first time on Australian soil, this is an event not to be missed!

NJPW TAMASHII VII: The Croxton, Thornbury Melbourne TICKETS (ringside sold out!)

As previously announced, Robbie Eagles collides with Shingo Takagi in the main event in Melbourne. Their one singles match occurring back at BOLA 2018, there has been much ground covered and history made by both men in the last five years, and the Sniper of the Skies facing the Dragon in 2023 will be one to watch indeed- especially as Shingo heads to Australia with the KOPW belt, and Robbie could well be bringing the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship back home with him next week.

Mick Moretti will be facing Hirooki Goto one on one. Moretti is no stranger with facing established Japanese names in Australia, having taken on Taiji Ishimori in the second TAMASHII card last November. Against the heavyweight Goto, his work will be cut out for him, but if anybody is adept at throwing curveballs to th emost established and experienced, it’s Moretti.

Making his TAMASHII debut, Dusk will be battling Slex, the Business. TMDK’s stock has been rising in Japan with title opportunities and the addition of Robbie Eagles. Tonight Eagles and Slex will be presenting a joint venture for The Mighty Don’t Kneel, and Slex will hope to buy the dip after an upset loss to Aaron Solo last time out and come back with a win in Melbourne.

There is a bustling tag team scene in TAMASHII to say the least, but throughout Australia, Tome and Stevie Fillips’ names have to be at the top of the list of tag team attractions. With an impressive record across their last TAMASHII outings, they now take on Bad Luck Fale and Jack Bonza, but with the power of the Rogue Army behind them, could this be a big cap for BULLET CLUB?

Singles action will see Jarvis return to face Emman Azman. Making his TAMASHII debut last time out in the Croxton, Jarvis didn’t exactly endear himself to the local crowd before falling in a valiant but losing effort to Richard Mulu. Will he fare better in the face of MCW’s Intercommonwealth Champion Azman?

Jake Taylor goes one on one with Richard Mulu. Two powerhouse prospects out of the NZ Dojo, Mulu and Taylor are sure to bring heavy hits to the Croxton, and to the delight of the local crowd.

Spectacular tag team action is sure to ensue when the Parea meet the Velocities in the opening match of the evening. With both sides holding impressive resume and growing reputation in Australia, who will claim early tag supremacy on the night in Melbourne?
