That could have been worse. There are all kinds of medical issues that wrestlers can deal with over the course of their careers but some of them have nothing to do with what happens in the ring. Occasionally there are situations that have to be dealt with that were caused long before someone got in the ring in the first place. That is now the case with a current missing WWE star.

WWE’s Alexa Bliss has revealed via her Instagram stories that she underwent a medical procedure for the skin on her face. Bliss did not mention what the condition was but did later send out a since deleted tweet, saying that she did not have a long recovery time. She also said always get your skin checked, especially if you use tanning beds. The original Instagram story included a note to Bliss’ younger self, warning her to stay out of tanning beds. Bliss’ most recent match took place at the Royal Rumble on January 28.

Opinion: What matters most is that Bliss is getting the treatment that she needs and seems to be doing fine. It will be nice to have Bliss back in WWE but it will be even better to have her back healthy after this kind of an issue. Whatever it was, it seems to be something that needed time to be repaired and it is great that Bliss not only knew that but got the help that she needed.
