It would make people mad. There have been a lot of rivalries over the years in WWE and some of them have gone on for a very long time. Those stories are often the ones that are the most remembered, as individual parts will stick out in fans’ minds more than anything else. Now we are hearing more about one such incident, which turned out to be quite the ordeal backstage.

The most recent episode of A&E’s Rivals series focused on the Rock vs. John Cena feud and included a section on Cena calling out the Rock for having his promo written on his arm. This was described as creating a “disconnect” between the two of them. Natalya also spoke about the incident, saying that she felt real tension backstage between Cena and Rock, saying the two men couldn’t even be in the same room. Cena and Rock would split their two match WrestleMania series at WrestleMania 28 and 29.

Opinion: I can’t blame Rock for being mad about the situation, especially if it violates some kind of backstage code. At the end of the day, Cena seems to have gone too far and that is going to cause some problems for everyone involved. What matters though is that they went out and had a famous match which drew a lot of money, and that should be enough to make up for almost any issues.
